What is closed Assumption Day - 15 Aug?

Does anyone know what places are closed for this national holiday Assumption Day - 15 Aug - Tuesday?

I didn%26#39;t realize this was a holiday until a few weeks ago.

The Musee d%26#39;Orsay will be OPEN, and Versailles will be OPEN operating on a Sat/Sun schedule. The fountains will be playing. The Eiffel Tower is OPEN.

L%26#39;Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre are CLOSED. The Sacre Coeur, Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame are CLOSED.

I would visit individual websites for other places you might be interested in. In general, I would think of the day like a Sunday, and expect that those businesses generally closed on a Sunday will also be closed on 15/8, likes banks.
