Month in Paris: Completed

OK. My month in Paris is almost over..... we are leaving early Monday morning. I feel like I have not done enough, even though I have done so much. I have seen:

S. Germain-des-Pres

Musee Eugene Delacroix

Place de la Concorde

Madeleine Church

Pere LaChaise

Notre Dame

Crypt and Treasury at Notre Dame

S. Chapelle

Musee de Cluny

S. Severin

S. Julien-le-Pauvre

Louvre (twice)

Tulieries

Luxembourg Garden

S. Denis

Musee du Quai Branly

Institut du Monde Arabe

Mosquee

Musee Guimet

Musee Dapper

Musee Jaquemart-Andre

S. Suplice

Sacre Coeur

Place du Tertre

Opera Garnier

Bon Marche

Galeries Lafayette

Parc Buttes-Chaumont

Musee Picasso

Pompidou Center

Arch de Triomphe

Champs-Elyses

We also went to Chartres (the cathedral and La Maison Piccassiette) and Giverny (Monet%26#39;s home and gardens), and have been shopping pretty much everywhere.

We have not, ironicly, gone up the Eiffel Tower yet. That might be happening Sunday night, as a last hurrah. Today I think we%26#39;re going to some museum of haute couture, and possibly the Museum of Eroticism. We also have not stood in front of the Moulin Rouge yet.

Anything else I need to see before I retire my Carte Orange and head back to the US? We have beaucoup homework due tomorrow, so sadly, time is limited.

Hey SallyBlue, what a wonderful list! I see from your other posts that you%26#39;ve been visiting quite a bit, but I didn%26#39;t see the Musee Carnavalet on the list? It has a very pretty double courtyard garden (a beautiful place to drink a cup of coffee and read a book or do some sketching or just admire the pretty ivy etc.). And the rooms give a wonderful perspective on the life of wealthy people who weren%26#39;t royalty! I just found it a delightful surprise. It%26#39;s also free!

Cheers
