Opera National de Paris

Hi,

We%26#39;re looking to add some culture to our trip, but we are ignorant when it comes to picking an Opera production. Any %26quot;connaisseurs%26quot; out there? The Opera National has Cosi Fan Tutte and Rusalka playing while we are in Paris.

Thanks!

Are you under 26 or over 60 ? If yes, you can get an excellent deal : unsold tickets in the parterre or first balcony for the grand sum of 25 euros ! You have to queue from 6.30pm on the night of the performance.

Don%26#39;t excpect any for Cosi fan Tutte, though. There will be some for Rusalka, I%26#39;m sure.

Opéra Garnier is one of my favorite intérieurs in Paris. It%26#39;s like a place devoted both to music and /saeks/ (the red velvet everywhere, the ceilings!)

Unfortunately we are in our 30%26#39;s, so no deals for us. I suppose we%26#39;ll put our hotel to work on getting Cosi tickets.

Thanks.

Don%26#39;t worry, there _is_ a deal for you : you can get tickets in the high seats for 7 euros, 1hr30 before the performance begins. As usual, forget about those for Cosi.

But you can buy them in advance. At Garnier, a 10€ seat gives you already a wondeful experience. If you can%26#39;t buy them on the web, I can arrange this for you.

Canuck, are you sure you have looked at the right season? I can%26#39;t foresee Rusalka on the 2006-2007 season! (I can see Cosi, though!)

Ahhh....I was using the following link; operadeparis.fr/Saison0506/Calendrier.asp… Looks like I confused Palais Garnier and Opera Bastille

For superheterodyne, I see that there are ticket available for Lucia on the Wednesday (Sept. 13) that we will in Paris. The Opera web site states that tickets will be mailed, however, can we purchase for pickup?
