I wondered if anyone could help me here. I was recently in France and booked return transfers from the airport with a shuttle company who failed to turn up on my arrival and I then cancelled the return with them 24hrs in advance as asked. I was promised a refund in person by a guy who turned up at the airport saying he couldn%26#39;t actually take us, but was from the same company, and who signed our booking confirmation; and also by email after returning when I complained we hadn%26#39;t yet received the refund. A week later, still no refund and I have emailed again but received no reply. I%26#39;m going to try and phone them (although their English isn%26#39;t great) and my plan is to threaten them with the French equivalent of trading standards, if such a body exists, so they know that I%26#39;m researching this and will not let it lie. I want my £80 back!
Can anyone help me with who I should go to (or say I%26#39;m going to anyway)? Thank you.

Did you pay by credit card? if so, get in touch with your card provider.

Yes I%26#39;m going to look into that but I think there was a time limit for claims and as I booked in advance and it%26#39;s taken a while for me to realise they%26#39;re not going to refund without a fight, I think I might have gone over it. Plus its not just about the money I would like someone to know about this %26#39;company%26#39; so they can be stopped swindling tourists.

You should be OK - payment for the service SHOULD only be due when the service is provided. If the service isnt provided on the due date, that is when any time limit starts from
