Which side of the plane is it better to sit on to view the Cote d%26#39;Azur best when arriving into Nice Intl Airport?

I believe this depends upon the prevaling winds at your time of arrival or departure. Ask for a windor seat and hope for the best.

Planes are required to fly off shore as they approach the airport so, provided your flight is coming from the west it will fly just off the coast. Flights from the UK usually cross the coast somewhere between Toulon and St Tropez. People sitting on the left get a wonderful view of the coastline all the way to Nice. If you sit on the right all you will see is the sea.
If you are arriving from the east I guess people on the right of the aircraft would get a view of the Italian coast and the short stretch of France between Menton and Nice.
Flights usually land from the west but wind conditions sometimes require pilots arriving from that direction to do a quick turn close to Cap Ferrat before they land.
