Hi all
Myself and three friends are going to Paris for 4 nights as part of a holiday trip at the end of August. When we are there we obviously want to have a great time and we were wondering what the Bars and Clubs are in Paris are like for checking IDs.
The reason I ask is 2 of us are 18 and two 17 (by a mere month or two) so we have a problem even though they don%26#39;t drink! Do doormen tend to always ask for ID or do they trust there judgement? Also is there a higher likelihood of getting in without ID before a certain time?
Also if you know of any good clubs or bars could you post them here?
Thanks for any help.

Never ever have I seen a doorman ask for id, somethimes you see people in the clubs that cant be more than 14-15 years old. If the club is crowded, if ure male (male or female?) I guess they could ask, but again, never ever seen it.

I confirm: France is not the States, nobody ever asks for ID to serve alcohol (unless you are 12 maybe! ). As for bars, there was a guy from Newcastle who went in June, and he sure made quite a fuss about getting to the right clubs at the right time, etc, and created countless threads on these issues. Sorry, I can%26#39;t remember his pseudo, but by typing the usual suspects%26#39; names such as %26quot;Buddha Bar%26quot; or %26quot;Barrio latino%26quot;, you should get some leads.
