My wife and I would like to eat at a nice traditional French restaurant in Paris. We don%26#39;t want to spen 100 euro per plate, but it does not have to be too inexpensive either. We are staying on the left bank, but we will go anywhere within the city limits. Any suggestions? Thank you!

In which area are you going to stay ? I know a very good one in the 17th, named %26quot;Au Petit Chavignol%26quot;, on rue de Tocqueville. It is one of my favourite one. Very good cooking, nice prices (from 12 € for on plate to under 50 € including wine), and very nice owners.
BTW, it is a wine bar, and you%26#39;ll eat food from Aveyron (a region located in the south west of France).

I%26#39;d go to Le P%26#39;tit Troquet in the 7th. It%26#39;s quaint, the food is excellent and the bill is about 30 euros per person for a 3 course meal.
Or everyone is raging about Le Comptoir in the 6th, but you can%26#39;t get in until after December. Reserve many months in advance. 40 euros prix fixe

Try Au Petit Marguery, in the 13th near the Place d%26#39;Italie. It%26#39;s a venerable Parisian bistro with wonderful food for around 40 Euros prix fixe.
