Movenpick Dream Castle hotel

We%26#39;ve booked 3 nights/4 days at this hotel including DLP hopper tickets beginning of August. Anyone stayed there? Any tips for getting the best out of our trip, particularly entertaining/feeding a 5 year old?

Can%26#39;t comment on the hotel, sorry but dont worry about entertaining a 5 year old - it%26#39;s what Disney do best. Food wise, be prepared for fast food at high prices if you are eating at the park or Disney village.

We%26#39;ll be there at the same time and being warned about shuttle running every %26#39;20...

Does anyone know how far from the park is the hotel:

walking distance, I mean.

Loxley-Lass: read this review, hope it helps!

hi cant comment on the hotel as we never stayed there as we stayed at the holiday inn next door which was excellent for the price.the shuttle bus is extremeley handy and very punctual although can get busy but in july i guess they run more than every 20 mins.as for walking i think it is a bit far probably about 2 miles.not what you want when you are on your feet all day in disney.

Thanx! :)

Thanks everyone for the info and the useful link to the review of DLP:)

Good value for money hotel, we chose a family room as I had my 12yr old brother staying with us. Your 5 yr old will enjoy the pool. Pretty good breakfast, and the shuttle service is good! Have a great time, just looking at booking another stay myself...

hi,

Just returned from disney, staying at Dream Castle. Good hotel, although be warned the buffet is a bit of a joke, food is nice dont get me wrong, but at 28euros a head before drinks to serve yourself its not worth it. best going into disney village for dinner, there are plently of options, although i would recommend possibly booking or going early as it gets quite busy.

regards walking distance to from hotel, we decided to walk one evening and it really wasnt that bad. it took us about 30mins (baring in mind i was wearing heels, i think thats not bad). The bus back was jam packed and the walk gave us a change to digest our meals. Although through the day i would say the bus was the best option as its pretty hot and because of the frequency of the buses during the day they arent as busy as at night.

hope that helps. any more info just post and ill try my best!

Have a great time

NicNic xx
