What about Hotel Fortuny?

Hello everybody, I%26#39;m going to stay at the Hotel Fortuny, near Madeleine, from 24 to 28 february. I searched for it at this page, but there isn%26#39;t any comment. Please, can someone say me something about it? Is it well situated?

Another questions for my stay in Paris are:

- How to arrive to the hotel from Charles De Gaulle? How much costs taxi? Is metro sure?

- Are there problems of excess of people if i buy my ticket to Versailles or Louvre the day i%26#39;m going to visit? Is it convenient buy it before?

- What about Carnival in Paris?

There are a few (very compact) reviews of this hotel on www.cybevasion.com. Good marks, but the rooms are probably not very large and one of the reviewers mentions some noise issues. Location looks good, close to Blvd. Haussmann and Madeleine.

The hotel is around the corner from my place.

There should NOT be any noise problem as rue de l%26#39;Arcade is a one way road and there are no large cafes or restaurants on that street.

Location is excellent, just steps from metros 3, 8, 9, 12, 14 among others and many buses (20 to 29, 94 and 95 etc.).

Major department stores are very near and from the hotel you can walk to Champs Elysees and Louvre very easily. I also walk to Montmartre, Marais, Tour Eiffel... but I am good walker.

You can take Roissy bus to Opera and roll your suitcase to hotel.

Taxi would be about 40.00 Euros.

And YES metro is safe even at night with a few mishaps on rare occasions. I take it all the time (but prefer buses) at all hours and alone.

There is not much happening for carnaval in Paris except for private parties.

I%26#39;d like to visit Paris alternating walks and panoramic buses. Where is the principal panoramic buses stop? Do you recommend me to use this method?

I have 5 days and I want to spend one visiting Euro Disney, do you think it%26#39;s possible?

You can catch l%26#39;Open Tour on rue Auber which is actually not far from hotel.

Weather in February will vary from cool to cold if not freezing.

You can catch RER to Eurodisney at Auber stop also on rue Auber. I would wait for warmer weather to go there if it could be arranged.
