Looking for clubs in Paris to "watch" others....

Apologies to anyone if this offends them.

My wife %26amp; I are headed to Paris this Fall and want to know if there are any clubs (I guess they would classify as swingers clubs) where we could go to have fun with each other and watch other couples (we don%26#39;t want to participate with anyone else, only watch, which is why I was hesitant to write the word swinger since we don%26#39;t want to swing with anyone else)

Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

You probably will get flamed... I have seen swinger clubs advertised in all my readings over the years but know nothing about how they operate or what the expectations would be on your attendance... I feel that you would have to speak/understand French pretty well to communicate or explain what you want once you find such a place. I%26#39;m thinking there might be clubs in the Montparnasse/ Gaite area but it%26#39;s just a fuzzy recollect perhaps... You can try %26#39;googling%26#39; ( I%26#39;m not going to do it !) but again, I think the results will be all in French.

Maybe someone will at least give you some terminology tips for googling...

This is a very popular pasttime in Paris and you shouldn%26#39;t have any problem finding a place that will suit your fancy. You might want to Google %26quot;club echangiste%26quot; as this is the French term for what you%26#39;re looking for.

Any idea if us going in not speaking French so well will be a problem? I hear the club %26quot;L%26#39;Overside%26quot; is wonderful and perfect for this.

There was a thread/report by an American couple who went to this kind of club a few months ago. Type %26quot;libertine%26quot; on the research engine, and it should appear.
