Where to stay in Paris

My daugher (28 years old) and I (2 women) plan to stay in Paris October 11-15. Can you please recommend where we should stay after we arrive at CDG? We also plan to go to Paris Disney for 1 day. Thanks. Will the weather be cool or rainy at that time?

I%26#39;d search the forum for ideas - a lot of regulars are away at the moment which might explain the paucity of replies.

Weather - could be clear and sunny, could be damp and grey. Keep an eye on weather forecasts as your trip approaches but think layers.

Where - well given that Paris is relatively small and the public transport is so comprehensive, I say choose a hotel with a price and facilities you like and go for it. Other would suggest their own favourite quarter or suggest you keep to the %26#39;inner%26#39; arrondissements i.e. 1 - 11

You can find historical weather statistics on www.weather.com

It most likely will be cool (45-65*F) and sometimes rainy. Just take lightweight layers, a jacket, and an umbrella.

Most people like to stay as %26#39;centrally%26#39; as possible, so you would look for a hotel in the %26#39;postal codes%26#39; 75001, 75004, 75005 and 75006. There is nothing wrong with the other areas - you might need public transport a bit more than the ones that border on the Seine.

How many rooms are you going to book? Is it 4 or 3 ladies? You might want 2 rooms just so you can also have 2 bathrooms. You won%26#39;t need a/c in October, so that opens up a huge array of hotel candidates.

Some good ones might be:

Hotel Henry IV Rive Gauche, in the Latin Qtr
