Anyone ever stay in one? I%26#39;ve stayed there before, in a double, but not in a single. just wondering what to expect.

There are some T.A. reviews of people who stayed in single rooms, and if I%26#39;m not mistaken, they%26#39;re favorable.

I am curious too. I do not travel with alot of stuff/luggage etc. but do not really want to vacation in a monk%26#39;s cell either...unless it actually is a monk/novice cell!
Do prefer a tub though.........which is why I generally book a double even when alone.

I just called the Britannique. THeir singles are 9 sqare meters with a twin bed. No bathtub....

Thanks for the info Les. Guess I%26#39;d consider the price difference and length of stay.
Though I have booked doubles in a few hotels and when I showed up solo was given a single. Had the proper confirmations with me and afer a few unpleasent moments got the double. Not exactly how one wants to start their contact with the hotel staff though, particularly in a smaller hotel! And once accepted the room because it was charming other than the single bed but got a price adjustment!
