Lovely spa, amazing massage!

I havde just got back from my holiday in Paris and had the most amazing experience that I wanted to recommend. I went to the Spa Nuxe in Rue Montorgueil and had an incredible massage by a physiotherapist/masseur called Julien. It was by far the best massage I have ever had.

Thanks for your tip... it%26#39;s always good to have a personal recommendation for a service like this...

Do you speak French? Did you find that the staff can communicate sufficiently in English?

I think most of the staff speak English - Julien was pretty fluent and the receptionists all seemed to understand what I was saying! I agree - it does help if you can communicate.

Just as a note for anyone going next month ...... I phoned the Spa Nuxe in Rue Montorgueil for an appointment in mid August but the receptionist [who spoke excellent English] told me that they are closed in August.

I noticed they had a whirlpool (or more than one?) Is there a place to relax after the treatment where you can unwind a little - like a whirlpool, etc. - as well?

Fabulous tip! I%26#39;m definitely putting this on my %26quot;To Do%26quot; list for my September trip.

Just one question ... would you recommend getting the massage at the beginning of the trip (after a long overnight international flight) or nearer the end of the trip (after all those days of walking)???

Oh - and were they pushy as far as trying to sell products?

|||

Oooh c%26#39;est tres cher! I%26#39;m sure it%26#39;s well worth it though ;)

Oh I really fancy the AROMA-PÉTILLANT TREATMENT WITH 4 CITRUS FRUITS - I%26#39;ve added it to my to-do list for my next trip in Paris!

I already gave a direct link for the spa:

.... in answer to the questions.... no I dont think they have a whirlpool for using after the massage, but they do have some kind of water-jet bath (although I think this is a separate treatment). They do have showers in the room, so you can use that afterwards.......... in terms of whether to have a massage at the beginning or at the end of a massage, I personally prefer at the beginning - start the holiday as you mean to go on (relaxed and pampered!), then if you are feeling flush at the end of the trip, you can have a second one so that you can return home afterwards feeling utterly zen. I always have a massage when I am on holiday.... this one remains my top rating. I am going back to Paris for another one soon!
