My family of 3 arrives at Charles de Gaulle TER 3 and I see that the RER B is conveniently located and goes to Saint Michel Notre Dame in about 45 minutes at E8 each. We are staying at Hotel Henry IV Rive Gauche on Rue St Jaques which seems to be within walking distance from the station (will have wheely cases). Easy jet offers a shuttle service door to door at E16 (plus booking fee and other stops along the way I guess) each which I am tempted to take for convenience. However I wonder about the traffic(Sunday) and if the train is a better option. Any advice would be welcome.

For 3 x 16 euros plus booking fee you could pay a taxi to take you directly to your hotel. Traffic is light on Sunday unless it is the weekend where everyone comes back from vacation. It does tend to pick up at the end of the day towards 5 or 6 pm.
The RER is easy and fast BUT has stairs and turnstiles to deal with. Can be a bit tiring with luggage.

I haven%26#39;t ever arrived at Terminal 3, but to get to the RER station you have to walk a bit (1/2 mile?) or take a free shuttle bus. Then you have to get in line to buy tickets (unless you have a microchip credit card that will work in the machines). So it takes a bit of time. I agree about taking a taxi - they will charge an extra € per bag, so don%26#39;t think you%26#39;re being %26#39;ripped off%26#39;. The fare might cost around 40-50€ but you will be deposited directly at the hotel.
After you get the hang of things, you can consider returning to CDG via the RER.

Thanks for the sound advice. One less thing to book!
