Looking for a hotel with charmin Aix

Looking for recommendations for hotels in Aix in mid Aug. I am looking for a place that is French Provencial w/ garden, breakfast, pool, good bed, a place to come back and relax in the room or garden-I like to venture out and try new places to eat. I am experimential with food and enjoy good meal with atmosphere.

I am traveling alone

I do like nice hotels and do not mind paying if they are worth it. Will consider other places that may be less but offer a great bed and location. Hope to rent a car and take day trips.

Also considering a farmhouses, chateaus close to vineyards or would consider staying at a vineytard and take a cooking class- recommendations?

Not too sure is this is too much of a fantasy or not.... suggestions

I think you would like Le Mas d%26#39;Entremont, a charming hotel perched on a plateau just above Aix. The hotel is a small complex, including a two-story main building, cottages, and bungalows situated throughout the grounds. There%26#39;s a very nice pool and an excellent restaurant. Being away from the bustle of Aix is very nice, but the town--and many other spots to visit--is quite close.

Thank you Underhill- will check this out. BTW thank you for advice on my other posting.

You may want to consider a visit to Pavillon de la Torse. It is an 18th century Bastide,a 15 minute walk to downtown or a 5 minute walk to the bus stop. There are a few reviews posted with Trip Advisor that you may want to read. Also a website Latorse.com
