Have you ever stayed in this building?

I%26#39;m finding a lot of apartment rentals at the 26 Boulevard Albert Ier, Antibes, France. According to the apartment owners it is a brand new building just 3 blocks from the beach. It is on the corner of Boulevard Albert1er and Rue Freres Roustan.

Do you know anything about apartments/location of this building? I am looking for a quiet place close to the beach and all major shops/restaurants.

Thank you!

Gene.

I hope I%26#39;m not too late in replying. I can%26#39;t say anything specific about that building but Albert Ier is the main boulevard and quite attractive with lots of shopping and restaurants. You will be close to the beach and the Old City which has even more shopping and restaurants available. In general, all of Antibes is quiet at night, although I was%26#39;t there in the middle of the big tourist season.

This is indeed a brand new building. The location is very good, and the sea only a short stroll away. Very well located for some excellent restauants, such as the Café Kanter - opposite the building, and the Sapori, next to the yawning gap where once stood the Hotel Royal. Place de Gaulle is 5 minutes%26#39; walk up the road, away from the sea, and Vieil Antibes and the Marché Provençal about 10 minutes%26#39; walk - at least, that%26#39;s how long it takes me.

So that is what happended to the Hotel Royal! When I was there in the summer I couldn%26#39;t remeber where exactly is was, but knew it was somewhere on the front but couldn%26#39;t figure out where it was LOL, whats going in its place?

What will be replacing the HR is another %26#39;delightful %26#39; block of flats. Apparently the idea is to have a certain number of privately-owned appartments, plus an appartment-hotel!

The artist%26#39;s impression doesn%26#39;t look half as attractive as the old hotel was - in its prime. Anyway, ours not to reason why . .etc..!

Thanks for the reply
