Caron perfume shop

Can anyone give me an idea of how expensive one of the 13 %26quot;boutique%26quot; fragrances are at the Caron shop? I was looking at picking up several of the smallest size bottles, or do they have a sampler assortment?

I did not go to the Caron Shop. However, there is a discount Pefume shop off Rue St. Honore called Catherine. It stocks a large selection of different fragrances. I believe it is on Rue Castiglione.

I purchased Cartier at very good prices. I do know that they had a very large selection of many different brands.

Sephora would be another place.

Oui, If Caron seems too expensive, I was considering either Catherine or Freddy, but not Sephora since there%26#39;s one in my local mall.

This is a question for LuckyLuc. Are you out there??

You could always call ahead and ask. If they are out of range, here are five addresses that you could use to make your own tour of frangrances you may not find at home. FM is the real deal with grat space for choosing scents, AP is probably the most affordable, IUNX is particularly remarkable for the art gallery experience, MPG for the history and PN for your own custom blend.

Thank you phread. I%26#39;ll make note of these. Looks like the 7th is the place to be for perfume! I was already planning a stop at Frederic Malle.

Bonjour Love 2 travel,

Ah! Caron Caron Caron, For my a trip in Paris is not complete with a refill from the Montaigne Avenue strore. The smallest size of the eau de toilette for any of the parfums from the Baccarat fontaines would cost only 67,50 Euros, the size up would be 106 Euros. Of course the parfum would be more.

For me nothing compared to Caron for the uniquess of their flagrance and for the shopping experience. I have been wearing the same perfume, called Poivre in it perfume version or Coup de fouet in the Eau de toilette version, and get compliment and questions all the time. It is a bit extravageant but I guess we all choice our own little way of coping for not being in Paris!

I find that scents have a direct link with memories and even ten years after my mother departure I still buy her Caron perfume (N%26#39;aimez que moi) to put in my linen closet so when I open the door and walk in I can feel like a little boy and get a hug.

Bon voyage and happy shopping.

Luckyluc, what a lovely post!

I realize it isn%26#39;t Caron but Guerlain has redecorated their shop at 68, Champs Elysees about a year ago and it is really lovely. Upstairs they have their antique fragrance bar where, I was told by my clerk, is the only place where some of the original fragrances are sold. And some of them are really wonderful. And of course they give samples.

|||

Most french perfumes are cheaper here in the US,do an online check.

|||

Merci beaucoup Luckyluc! It sounds like I may be able to afford a small bottle then, maybe only one so I can get a couple more from the other places mentioned here.

Trini4life, I think I read somewhere that the %26quot;boutique%26quot; fragrances are only available in Paris, so they would make an excellent souvenir. There%26#39;s other Caron frangrances that are sold strawberrry and perfume world etc, but they%26#39;re not the same as the old classics. Someone correct me if I%26#39;m wrong?
