We are planning to stay at this hotel at the end of September. Based on the reviews we have read, it appears to be an excellent choice for us - in a residential neighbourhood, within commuting distance of the sites. What we would like to know is if there are many local restaurants/brasseries in the area. After a day of sightseeeing, we like to have a quiet dinner in a small restaurant near our hotel that is frequented by the locals.
Will this be possible at this hotel?

My mom, aunt and I traveled to Paris in April. I never wrote a review, but I feel the need to answer your post. We ate French almost every night, except for the one I was craving something different, Italian. We went to a little gem in the 16th called Convivium. I am actually Italian and I am very particular about Italian food. I was hoping for something good, but this place exceeded our wildest expectations. The prices are decent, the atmosphere is wonderful and the food is fantastic. We went on a Thursday night and there was a bit of a wait. In the future, I would call for reservations.
