For a trip to Paris Sept 9-16.
-- Is there a way to order or reserve slots for Paris musem admission in advance?
-- Have any of you used your concierge or hotel to book slots before arriving in Paris? (We used that practice in Italy and were thrilled.)
-- Got any advice for free Sundays?
Interested especially in museums d%26#39;Orsay, Pompidou, Rodin and the new Monet near Bois de Boulogne.

All museums with popular exhibitions such as the Grand Palais, Musée d%26#39;Orsay, Louvre, etc. have websites on which you can book your slots
Free Sundays: forget it. You are going to be in Paris in the first half of September, when the tourist population is still relatively high + the Parisians will have come back from vacation. %26quot;Free%26quot; = big crowds. You won%26#39;t have flown all over the Atlantic to save € 10 to rub shoulders with thousands of fellow tourists, when, by going on a week day, you%26#39;ll avoid 70 % of this crowd. Most tourists in Paris are from the French provinces or other European countries and lots of them only come for week-end breaks. So week-ends are hell in major cultural spots. Take advantage of your long term status to focus on these cultural behemoths on week days, doing something else on week-ends.
