Apartment Rentals

One year ago today, I was in Paris. Having withdrawl as i look at the pictures. Thinking of next year. Want to go back for at lest three weeks. Can anyone recommend a good website for renting apartments. It will be more economical for a longer stay.

Peter - there are loads of postings on this forum about apartment rentals. If you type %26quot;apartment rental%26quot; in the search option, you will find them.

I booked through Lodgis (www.lodgis.com) and I am currently sitting in that apartment, hooked into the broadband internet, typing this posting.

I found that the Lodgis website had more to offer than some of the other websites. They have an advanced search where you can specify particular requirements and so you will only be shown the apartments with those features. My specific requirements were internet and washing machine. And they were very professional too. Organising it all from Australia went very smoothly.

When you say %26quot;internet%26quot; - does that mean that the computer itsel is also included, or: is it only the internet-connection that is provided, so that you would have to bring your own laptop ??

Peterm - you can put your trust in fellow Ontarion, Gail Boisclair. She manages the lovely apartments (from studio to 3-bedroom) listed at perfectlyparis.com We have rented through her twice and are going back for a third time in the fall. Three weeks or more...I am envious!

Don%26#39;t go with Vacations in Paris. We had a terrible experience with them. It%26#39;s almost put me off renting apartments for vacations all together.

www.parisvacationapartments.com is an excellent company (it is not the same company as the previous post). They have luxury or just nice apartments.

unlike the fellow traveler above ( prada-evil)- we had a great expereince with VacationinParis.com !

we are preparing to again and will use them again !

keys sent to your home before you leave, all money transactions were clear and upfront,,, plus our Apt on ave Motte Picquet was great ! clena and comfy for sure...

the staff was generous with their time and very patient for a newibe like me and my family !

we loved it !

PS- i personally think an Agency is always better than %26quot; direct with Owner !%26quot;... they give you another level of guarentee, no ?
