WANTED: romantic and scenic hotel in a good location

Hey dudes,

Can anyone help with some suggestions for hotels in the centre of Paris.

Im looking for somewhere classy and romantic, ideally with a good view of say the eiffel tower, arc de triomph, etc. Not too bothered about the cost so all suggestions are welcome.

This will be a surprise for my girlfriend on valentines and i want it to be very memorable.

I have researched a few hotels myself but would appreciate anyones educated comments.

Someone gave a review on the Splendid Etoile, and posted photos, which show both the ArcDT and the Eiffel...
