travel from london to nice

what is the best way to travel from London to Nice? I see airfare for 125 which i thought was cheap! but is it easier to take a train or something? i have no idea how far it is. we have obviously never been before. Then we will also need travel from Nice to Paris. What is the best way to do that?

Unquestionably London - Nice is a low-cost flight. Check easyjet.com and ba.com for availability and cost. You should be ablre to get something under £100 round trip as long as you avoid the obvious times and book early enough.

The train is a no no unless you want to spend nine hours in a seat.

Nice - Paris - there are dozens of flights a day - Air France and Easyjet.

Cheers

I fly the route regularly and Easyjet is not always the cheapest carrier. It is worth also comparing the cost on britishairways.com and flybmi.com For a trip next October both BA and BMI were cheaper.

I have used Easyjet for many years but their boarding arrangements at London Luton, which used to be the best in the business, are now the worst I have ever come across in any country. My last two trips involved waiting on a staircase for 10 mns and then standing in the departure area where there is no seating in temps of over 90F for 20 mins. One elderly lady collapsed during this ordeal.

I have never paid much more than £100 return but you need to book well in advance for the best deals.
