Cheapest and quickest way is the train called RER, from the Airport it is direct to downtown Paris and it costs 8EUR, the line is RERB, you can not miss it that`s the only one from the airport. It is safe as many tourists are using it and very easy to locate, anyone at the airport can help you out. Have a nice time in the great city of Paris

I agree that you shoudl take the RER B - make sure it is an express train from CDG with no stops before Gare du Nord. Then a cab probably from there or the closest RER B station. Where is your hotel?

Yes there is the RER and at 21:00 you should not have to deal with crowds. I just do not like to drag my luggage through escalators or stairs. Cost is about 8-9 Euros.

I prefer the Airport bus (Roissy bus) since it takes me right to my destination (near Opera Garnier). Cost is also 8-9 Euros.

Have done the bus , the train and the taxi from CDG.

We fly Air France and stay fairly close to the Invilades so their bus is a decent deakl if the weather is ok.

We have taken the train but do not like traveling the train with luggage and in all likelyhood you will have to transfer somewhere in Paris to the Metro - a pain.

even though it cost more - the taxi is so much more comfortable and woth the extra to arrive relaxed.
