Nice, Antibes or Cannes with toddler ?

Where should we stay with our 2 yr old for relax and enjoyment as well as easy access to other cities and airport? THANK YOU!

All three sites mentioned are fairly big and busy. Nice is the major hub of bus transportation in the county. This said, its advantage over the other two sites is IMO marginal. Beach-wise, there is sand in Cannes and pebbles in Nice. The Nice beaches are good for adult swimmers but not very suitable for toddlers. With a small child, all other things equal, I would say Cannes is a notch or two more relaxed, the beach is wider and there is less traffic on the mainroad behind. Of the three, if the beach is an issue for the toddler, I would suggest to stay in Cannes. Fairly big city though.

Another possibility would be the Holiday Inn at St-Laurent-du-Var, a small fishing village between Nice and Cannes. The hotel has a pool for children and some other activities. St-Laurent is quite close to the airport.
